FROM THE NORTH: From the direction of Alnwick on the A1068, you will enter the village across the new bridge (you will see the old one on your right). After about 200 - 300 yards make a U-turn to your right (around the monument) in front of the Mason’s Arms and follow the road down the left side of this Square known as Dial Place and past St Lawrence‘s Church on your right. You will then see the River Coquet.
FROM THE SOUTH: From the Tyne Tunnel, follow the coast road on the A1068 to Amble. Keeping on the A1068, Warkworth is two miles further on. Turn right at the T Junction with the cricket field and Castle in front of you. You then follow the road around as it bears to the right around the Castle and continue on down Castle Street and bear left at the bottom by the monument into Dial Place and past St Lawrence’s Church on your right, where you will see the River Coquet straight ahead of you.
