The spacious Conservatory at the front of the property offers stunning views across the River Coquet as it winds around the village on its way to the sea at the port of Amble just 2 miles away. Whilst sitting in comfortable cane furniture, a wide variety of wildlife can be seen on or near the river, including deer, foxes, herons, swans and a variety of ducks and waders. Even the occasional seal can be seen swimming up the river from the sea at Amble at high tide in search of a salmon. There are also spectacular sunsets to be enjoyed on sunny evenings. Binoculars are provided as well as plenty of books and information on the local area and wildlife.

We look after the cottage personally and maintain a very high standard of cleanliness and decor. In the past two years we have completely refurbished the lounge, bathroom, double bedroom as well as replaced all the kitchen appliances. A variety of photos can be viewed in the Gallery.
